Fantastic First Attempt at Pastel Pencils

Here is a picture done by one of our Members Joanie. She posted it in our new Community Forum for members. This was her first attempt at pastel pencils and I'm sure you will agree that she has done a great job.Not taking any credit away from Joanie but doesn't this prove just how good and easy the pastel pencils are to pick up and create fantastic results with?I can't think of any other medium you can do work like this right off the bat.
