Advice on Ellie's White Cat Painting

Ellie has sent me her painting of a white cat and has asked for my help as to how this could be improved.Feedback and advice on Ellie's White Cat Pastel PaintingWhite animals are difficult subjects as they do not have any obvious colours to help create the contrasts that give the subject depth.A stronger tone is needed here to separate the head from the body, 233 would be ideal with perhaps a touch of the blue colour used in the eye (see black arrow).Another problem is the pupil in the left eye is not quite aligned correctly; the right one is not too bad though.I am not sure how Ellie arrived at the original drawing I suspect that she did it freehand, if this was the case she has done well. However by using grid as a drawing aid it would have been much easier to proportion those finer details.
